Poet
Catherine Moore provided the "poetry epilogue"
titled Protect The Heart, as well as a short piece titled
his Boots that graces the middle of the novel. Both were
written for the novel and I am very grateful for their inclusion.
About the Poet:
Catherine Moore is a freelance writer and poet.
A "scribbler" since they handed her a pencil as a child,
after graduating from the Florida State University with a degree in
English Literature she has spent most of her career working in education
and public relations fields. Catherine is an avid traveler and has
visited 14 different countries, including living overseas at the age
of four. A literacy advocate, she volunteers as an ESOL tutor at her
local public library. Catherine has also placed in Area and Regional
speech competitions with Toastmasters Club, Intl. She is a Preferred
Author at Writing.Com, which is listed in Writer's Digest as one of
the 101 Best Websites for Writers. Some
of Catherine’s recent publications include short stories and
poems in Six Little Things, MaMaZina Magazine, Emerald Tales, and
others.
