Finishing Touches by LK Hunsaker

LK Hunsaker was born in Peoria, Illinois and raised in a small town nearby, where the best entertainment was imagination. Her writing career began in childhood with plays, later adding poetry. While earning an Associate's degree from Illinois Central College, Hunsaker's first psychology class added another curve to her artistic and musical upbringing: the desire to understand human nature.

Marriage to a U.S. service member and raising two children while moving and traveling between many states and several countries added richer dimensions to her sense of place and society, providing additional material for her novels.

Currently living in Virginia, Hunsaker runs a web site devoted to the amateur arts, does design and publishing work from home, and has earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, graduating with honors from the University of Maryland. She is also an active member and preferred author at Writing.com.
